Jetradar is a flight metasearch website. Its purpose is to help users find the cheapest airline tickets available for a certain destination and date. Jetradar offers its affiliates 60% to 70% of its profit from every ticket sold via an affiliate link, which amounts to as much as 1.6% of the ticket price. You can use pre-made text links, banners, search forms, API and White Label for promotion purposes.
Even if each patron only contributes a very small amount each month, it can still be a huge source of income. Take a look at the Patreon page for Kinda Funny, an internet video company. They have over 6,209 patrons which means an average of just $3 a month would be a monthly income of almost $19,000 – plus they get cheerleaders that are always happy to spread the word on their brand.
You also get to see specific details about each loan, including what the borrower is using it for, the state they live in, how long the pay-off period is, what the monthly payments are, and what rate the borrower will pay. It helps you get a better picture of what type of risk you’re exposing yourself to, and you get to take more control over your investment.
Everything about the business should begin from the customer or the end user. In marketing, understanding the needs, wants, motivations and problems of your customers is an absolutely critical first step. We call this research as building user persona or buyer persona. There are a lot of good resources online to learn this. One of them is listed here:
Web analytics is the part of marketing devoted to the analysis of your goals and methods used for promotion of your website, and how those should be adapted in order to refine the approach and eventually produce better results. This segment of the course will show you what web analytics is, why you should use it and which metrics should be tracked to get the relevant data for the analysis. You will also learn about conversion optimization, elements of web usability and conversion optimization and how to calculate conversion rate optimization.
I actually used to rank #1 for a “best [PRODUCT TYPE]” keyword a few years back with around 50k monthly search volume – used to pull in 20k+ uniques/month at one point, all to one page. It was nothing but a long blog post; I monetised it solely through Amazon affiliate links and it made £400 – £500/month. Each of the products on the page were around £15 – £30.
Expedia itself negotiates directly with the suppliers to secure access to inventory, including packages and rates. The brand claims that it features leading conversion rates, meanwhile each qualifying transaction made through a link gives you a share of the revenue (varies, up to 12%). Tools, data feeds, and storefronts are also all available for partners.
Another great thing about Amazon affiliate program is that you will have a choice of promoting products that interest you. You can promote the products by writing reviews or articles about the products. The earning potential in Amazon affiliate program is unlimited. Unlike other companies where you will earn by promoting a single product, Amazon offers you with a unique link that earns you a commission each time a customer purchases any product from the site.
Once you have the products sorted out, you have to focus on marketing. One approach is to make money blogging where you highlight all the latest tech and products coming on the market. You could also have a review site in which you offer reviews on several different products in a category. Every product has a link to buy (with your affiliate link), of course.

The tagline for this social media class is “picking up clients with social media in 48 hours or less.” Which points to the fact that this instructor dives into intermediate social media strategies. Moving beyond more beginner tactics like setting up social media accounts and basic posting strategies, this class assumes that you already know those things and provides details on how to best use the channels that you’re already familiar with.
Actually, yes. I have created a new problem solving model called C.U.R.E Problem Solving ™ 4 Easy Steps found at me site http://daderonan.com and I was planning on using it to address a new niche site for me on nutrition. I am also a big Football fan and seeing that it is #3 on your list makes me think about how I could leverage my problem solving system to Football.
Hi Anthony, YES, there are affiliate programs for plumbing and heating. Faucet.com and HomeDepot both have affiliate programs that you can join and earn a commission. Now, obviously, if customers need very specific parts only, this may be an issue. But, I know marketers that make a nice income using sites like the ones I mentioned and others. I would front it with your own website and build a following. These are things discussed within the Wealthy Affiliate program, how to build a website and earn money in something you’re passionate about. Check out Wealthy Affiliate. It’s free to join… Read more »
This is a great list Stuart and it would take a lifetime or two to try to get to all of them. I currently have a mini network setup to create authority sites and I'm wondering if anyone would be interested in being part of the network to run their own niche category. You can almost think of it like a franchise where you are part of the whole where you get all the tools and resources necessary to get up and running and I'll offer the ongoing support as well as growing the brand to get you the traffic. It's a new idea I have and looking for anyone that may be interested.
Type of site: Just make this a niche site for the first several years. Don’t waste a ton of time making a podcast and an in-depth youtube channel. Make a few videos to show some setups but mostly just write blog posts. If you create a podcast episode today, nobody will listen to it again after a few months. Write blog posts that will last. There is no competition here, so don’t get bogged down with social media and crap. Just write!

I just started getting into dirt bikes. They are SOO much fun! Unfortunately, I’ve found it difficult to find good answers to the things I’m searching for on newbie dirt bike topics. For example, “How many CCs should I get for a kids bike?” Or “What protective gear do most kids wear for dirt biking” or “What is the best beginner adult dirt bike?” If you can answer those questions and create a helpful site answering them, it could be quite profitable.
Each course is designed to be an interactive textbook of sorts, and consists of videos, projects, and quizzes to test your knowledge. They also provide a forum for people taking the course to use to interact with others taking the course as well, and allows you to chat, share ideas, and help each other succeed where some of you might be struggling. The course is accredited, and also provide official recognition when you succeed.
How to monetize this site: Sponsorships could make the site huge, advertising could make the site decent, and affiliate sales on products could do well too. I don’t see digital products being huge on this one except for the boat restoration niche, which could be cool. Find some boat repair/restoration experts on the internet and offer them $1,000 to spend two days with you showing you their boat restoration techniques. Hire a videographer for $500 to video the pro teaching you, and sell the video for $199.
As an alternative, you can dedicate your time and efforts to generating as many unique leads as possible, and earn a good sum through quantity. This means you should not let high rates fool you. A commission of 30%-40% for the affiliate could be attractive relative to rates of 1%-5%. However, what matters is how much you can sell. Imagine that you have two products, both of which cost $100. From the first you can earn 40%, while from the second “just” 10%. Seems logical to work with the most profitable?
