Google’s digital online marketing course is unique in that it’s set up as a competition, rather than a course. You’ll compete against marketers just like you in areas like Search Advertising, Social Analytics, Video, and Search Engine Marketing. I’m sure that, especially to a beginner, this sounds overwhelming, but don’t worry; they offer an actual Digital Marketing course to help you learn and understand the concepts of online marketing before attempting the challenge. At the end of the course you’re awarded a certificate of completion, and they even offer prizes to the winners of each region of the competition (for Europe, America, the Middle East, and Asia) in the form of donations to non-profit partners and even trips to their Headquarters for the Global and Regional winners.
Create and monetize an app. Mobile applications are a large and still-growing market that can provide you with a large amount of income if you know how to capitalize on it. The first and most challenging step, however, is creating an app that people actually want to use. Try to assess the need for an app by thinking of useful apps you would want or problems that can be solved by an app. Then, look for current apps that met these needs. If they aren't any, or if they aren't any quality ones, consider creating your own app.
When I purchase an existing online business, I look for cash flow over the past year and where the money comes from. I want the sources to be more passive so that it does not take a lot of my time. Also, typically I will make an offer that is 18 – 24 months of profit so that I know that I will get my money back within the next two years. I hope that helps!
There are a wide range of business models and sub-niches inside of the larger pet health industry, so competition is relatively limited. There may be large players in the industry that are working all possible angles, but choosing a very specific angle will allow you to target it even better and take your portion of the massive $21 billion yearly revenue that’s available.
Teachable and Udemy are two of many, but these are the most prevalent, and they’re both intuitive and user-friendly. With Teachable, you have more control over your pricing and the look and feel of your course, but you don’t get a built-in audience. Instead you have to do all the marketing yourself. Udemy has a built-in base of students, but you don’t have as much control and they take more of your revenue.
