4. Understand profitable problems deeply. It’s not enough to simply know that, for example, males between 18 and 25 are looking for hangover cures. You need to find out what exactly they want in a hangover cure, and the problems they have with current hangover cures. There’s more to it then simply finding your niche, however. You also need to understand the language they use in describing their ideal solution, so you can echo that language back to them in your ad copy, sales page copy, etc.
These niches aren’t “trendy.” They’ve been best-sellers for a long time because they appeal to people’s deeply-held wants and desires. The products may change, but these are core niches that will never go away and will always be part of the human experience. In most cases, these categories have been around long before the internet and are popular offline in bricks and mortars stores as well. And that means they’ve got staying power.
Just starting to educate myself and do the research to determine if this whole “selling on Amazon” thing is something I would want to pursue, so I’m as new and green as they come!! I have learned a tremendous amount already from reading your blogs and watching some of the videos and I just have to decide if purchasing the JS tools is the best route for me.
Wouldn't it be nice to earn income without worrying about it? I'm not talking about doing your regular 9-to-5 job, but through passive income. Because, believe it or not, there are several easy ways to earn passive income. Yes, some of the ways may involve some work, time, and money up front, but once that's taken care of, you can sit back and watch your bank balance grow.
I've taken a few awesome courses and certifications through HubSpot Academy, including an inbound marketing certification and a content marketing certification. These classes helped me be better at my job, so I started making a list of other classes I could take to learn more skills. When I finished the list, I realized that you, dear readers, might have similar skill gaps, so I wanted to share it in a blog post.

Self Publishing is mainstream today. When you purchase an eBook off of Amazon there’s a pretty good chance you’re buying a self-published book. Self-publishing is also ridiculously easy. I tried this a few years ago and couldn’t believe how simple the process was. To self-publish a book you’ll first need to write and edit it, create a cover, and then upload to a program such as Amazon’s Kindle Direct Publishing. Don’t expect instant success though. There will need to be a lot of upfront marketing before you can turn this into a passive income stream.
Mountain climbing requires a very large amount of expensive gear, and much of it has an expiration date and must be replaced every 2-5 years. So mountain climbing makes a lot of sense as an affiliate product. Also, if you focus your niche on mountain climbing, you also could pick up people interested in indoor rock climbing, rappelling, canyoneering, etc.
You’ve probably heard of affiliate marketing before – it’s when you earn a commission by promoting a product. The product you promote online should be something you’re knowledgeable about and that you believe is high quality. Common sense, right? You’d be surprised by how many affiliate marketers forget that principle, but that’s a whole other story.

A lot of concepts were foreign to me, and I came across this post on link blending, and I was like, “What the heck is link blending? What is this guy talking about? I never heard of this before.” So that concept, in itself, got me e-mailing Neil, and I just kept e-mailing him over and over. If you want a mentor, if you want somebody to learn from, and you’re persistent, they’re going to notice you over time. I kept pestering Neil, and finally he was just like, “You know, dude, let’s just get on the phone.”
As another best affiliate in our list of the top 10 affiliates, AvantLink connects businesses with marketers where the merchants will take the advantage of affiliate marketing to boost their sales. Here, the merchants will need to provide info about the affiliate program set the commission charges and all the necessary details about their products. In the other words, the affiliates will take this information into the market and earn commission after selling the products. The system will handle all the sales and commissions well.
Shutterstock is the first name users remember if you ask them about stock photo websites. However, even such a powerful brand needs promotion. This affiliate network was created to help affiliates who specialize in dating find online merchants seeking promotion for their products or services. Love Revenue promotes such brands as NextLove and Victoria Milan, to name a few. Travel Accessories: As travelling becomes more affordable and accessible, this market will continue to grow. Capture the travel bug’s interest by selling travel accessories, worldly products, and global foods. With majority of travelers being tech savvy, focus on digital organizers, luggage scales, WIFI hotspots, chargers/power banks, and GoPro cameras.
Register a domain and get on it! You can review all of the current offerings by simply buying them on Amazon, testing them out for a month, and then returning them before your return window ends. I personally don’t have any problem doing this because it means that I’m going to send TONS of traffic to Amazon, so I think it’s in their best interest.
How to monetize this site: Sponsorships could make the site huge, advertising could make the site decent, and affiliate sales on products could do well too. I don’t see digital products being huge on this one except for the boat restoration niche, which could be cool. Find some boat repair/restoration experts on the internet and offer them $1,000 to spend two days with you showing you their boat restoration techniques. Hire a videographer for $500 to video the pro teaching you, and sell the video for $199.
If you’ve got a book you’re itching to write, you can still go with the traditional publishing route. (We published our first book using a traditional publisher.) Whether your book is fiction or non-fiction, a publisher can help get your book into print and onto shelves in both online and traditional book stores. This is still a good route, although it may take more work and be more expensive than some other options.
If you’re into fly fishing, or you think you might want to learn about fly fishing to start getting into it, fly tying could be a great sub-niche. You might think fishing is a very small niche, but did you know that more people will go fishing this year than play tennis or baseball combined? It’s a huge topic and fly tying doesn’t look to be too competitive. As fly tying requires a lot of different items that people could purchase online.
For me I would choose a program with Recurring commission. You can build a real passive income. Its the best way to go! One suggestion is contact companies who sell services and ask if you can sell their service for them. Sometimes popular affiliate programs like these have just way too many people trying to sell their service. I personally went to sitecare.ca and asked them if I could sell their service and I couldn’t be happier! So find a service you believe in and go for it!
