Finding random websites on obscure topics sounds like a real pain, especially if I don’t even know what I am searching for! This is where a website marketplace like Flippa comes in handy. Flippa is a site where you can buy and sell websites. And the coolest part is that you can often see key information like the website’s URL, website traffic, monetization stats, and much more.
UPDATE: I created SoundProofExpert.com and wrote just seven articles on it.  I got distracted and never finished the site.  I usually like 50 articles on a niche site.  Anyway, 1.5 years later, the site started earning $400/month in passive income from just SEVEN ARTICLES!  We gave the site away as a contest on the Income School Youtube channel.  Watch this video on our Youtube channel to see all of the details of this site–how much traffic we got, how long it took to get traffic, and all the earnings.  We reveal everything about that project in the video.  Oh, and be sure to subscribe to Income School!
Domain names cannot be replicated. If one is taken, the only recourse would be to approach the owner to discuss a sale. While there are other variations you could choose, sometimes owning a certain domain (especially if it is attached to your business) can be worth the premium. Often, people will scout out domain names that are still available, buy them, and then sit on them in order to sell them down the road. Depending on who may want the domain down the road, you could sell it for a large markup.
Little known fact about me is that I love a good game of airsoft on the weekends.  Like in most cities, there is a group of about 200 people (mostly guys but there are some women who play) who get together every weekend  to play.  The airsoft guns are not anything like the tiny pump guns that kids buy at Walmart.  These guys spend hundreds on their guns, more on camo, and even have radio comm and military style helmets.  It’s serious to these guys.

While some people tend to use a savings account at the same bank where they have their checking account, make sure it's a high-interest one, not just a convenient one. "For short-term savings that you have parked in a savings account for easy access, you can often make more money just by researching whether you're getting the best interest rate," Goudreau says. "While many traditional banks offer as little as 0.1% interest on savings, online banks tend to offer higher interest rates. By switching to an account that offers 1% interest or more, you would be making 10 times as much just by moving the money."

I think this is a KILLER niche because site visitors will have just spend tens of thousands of dollars on a truck, so a couple hundred on accessories won’t feel like a big deal.  Also, MOST of the products in this niche would likely be in the $100 to $300 range, which I find is the sweet spot for niche sites.  More expensive and people research it for weeks before buying (and consequently your affiliate link expires before purchase), or too inexpensive and the commission is simply too small without massive volume.

As of 25th May 2018, the European Union will enact the General Data Protection Regulation. In effect, the regulation intends to give website users complete control of their personal information. This includes giving users the right to access any information website owners may hold about them. As well as the right to be forgotten, so that all personal information of the user that is held by the website owner, is deleted upon request of the user.
Generate online advertising revenue. In addition to selling items or services and participating in affiliate marketing, you can use your website or blog to make money by selling advertising space. If you have a highly-trafficked website and/or highly-involved regular readers, you have a way to attract advertisers for related products and have them purchase advertising space on your site. However, this advertising will have to be related to your website or blog in some way, otherwise your readers won't be interested.

3d printing is a booming industry right now.  3d printers are machines that start with a chunk of plastic and essentially cut out whatever you design on the computer.  You can make clothing, jewelry, technology accessories, all kinds of things.  Writing a blog about what can be made with 3d printers, reviewing the best 3d printers, and having info on making the best designs would be AWESOME!  I might even follow this kind of blog even though I don’t have a 3d printer, just because I want to get one so bad!

Venture capitalist Marc Suster has a blog post called “Is It Time For You to Earn or to Learn?” and I think that’s the exact scenario here, especially when you’re first starting out. I use none of those skills nowadays that I learned in college. It’s totally useless. As a matter of fact, the first job I got coming out of college was a dead-end job doing data entry, and my friend introduced me to Internet marketing, and that’s when I started learning everything.

I am confused about the keywords in the spreadsheet. For example, there is a keyword “oxford shoes for kids” that shows really low competition in the spreadsheet, but obviously there are many seller in there. So it would appear the data returned by junglescout is incorrect. Searching the same keyword on the web app returned same data as the spreadsheet, so it’s not a spreadsheet problem. Any explanation for this?
Obviously with such a hugely valuable niche where people will be spending on average around $30,000 to $60,000 on a boat, there will be tons of information and reviews available, right?  Wrong!  In fact, MOST of the boats that I was interested in had zero reviews to be found anywhere on the internet.  Zero.  And all the manufacturers showed was a few pictures, sometimes a sales video, and an abbreviated spec sheet.  That’s it.  I scoured the internet for unbiased reviews of boats and did not find anything helpful at all.
